The NEEMS Throttle Expression Pedal by LEEMS Industries LLC has been upgraded to the 2.0 Platform.
The NEEMS throttle expression pedal is a stompbox in the truest sense. Punch it to rev up your favorite effects that are expression enabled. As you push down this spring loaded pedal, it varies the expression value sent through a standard TRS( aka stereo) cable with a high degree of precision.

The NEEMS is nothing like any expression pedal you have used before. Instead of a rocking motion you push the pedal straight down to trigger your effects. It pairs especially well with pitch shifters to bring in an extra octave or two, but also works nicely with timed based effects like delay, reverb, univibe, spinning speaker, flanger, chorus, or anything with an expression input. Version 2.0 of the NEEMS Throttle Expression Pedal has 12 modes split into two banks of 6. Version 2.0 also introduces a second momentary switch for cycling through the modes and also tap tempo.

Description of modes:
Bank 1 contains 6 modes that are advanced by pressing the red momentary switch on the left. Bank 2 contains 6 modes that are advanced by depressing the pedal. The speed of all of the modes in Bank 2 is controlled by tapping the red momentary switch on the left. To enter Bank 2, power on the NEEMS with the red momentary switch on the left pressed down.

Mode 1: Gas Mode ( low to high )
Mode 2: Brake Mode ( high to low )
Mode 3: Transmission Mode ( simulates shifting gears)
Mode 4: DopplerMode ( simulates passing by or being passed by )
Mode 5: Sine Mode ( depress pedal to speed up )
Mode 6: Square Mode ( depress pedal to speed up )

The unique shape and size of the NEEMS Throttle Expression Pedal takes up a small footprint but is tall enough to access on the second or third row of your pedal board.

* Note that the NEEMS requires standard 9 volt, center negative barrel plug for power. Use isolated power for noise free operation. Battery power is not an option.

-Does it work with my pedal?

The NEEMS uses the most common wiring and resistance (10k Ohm) for expression pedals. Send us a message before buying to let us know what pedal(s) you intend on using the NEEMS with. We can check for compatibility.

-Is it made of plastic?

Yes! But this Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) we're talking about here. This thick ABS is impact resistant and tough. Also, the spring inside helps absorb impact.

- Is it too tall?

The NEEMS is rather tall like the tree it is named after. This should be taken into consideration as you plan for this pedal in your setup. However, this can be a plus if you are placing it on the second or third row of a large pedalboard because it's out of the way when you don't need it, but still within reach when you do.
